Terms and Conditions for Parties

Use and private hire of the Billinghay Community Swimming Pool is subject to knowledge,
acceptance and compliance with the Admissions Policy and Poolside Rules which form part of this contract, together
with any other specific guidance or information given below.

Billinghay Pool may ask for some personal details from its customers but we only ask for details that are “relevant
and necessary”. This ensures that we can contact you and to take account of your Health & Safety should we need to.

We take our responsibility for looking after information seriously and follow the Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR) at
all times when asking for or handling your information. For further details please ask at reception.

Billinghay Community Swimming Pool Committee holds overall responsibility for Health & Safety and maintenance of
the pool site, pool, boundaries, and buildings, inc. fixtures and fittings.

You, as the hirer/user, hold overall responsibility for the behaviour and general wellbeing of pool users and guests and will
ensure all participants vacate the premises at the allocated booking time end.

Poolside rules for all pool users and spectators must be adhered to at all times. Pool property, equipment and
provisions are to be respected and used according to their designated use.

You, as the hirer/user, will ensure enough Adults (over 18 yrs. of age) are present to provide acceptable supervision of
children in accordance with the Admissions Policy.

Billinghay Community Swimming Pool Committee will provide a Lifeguard with current certified basic Lifesaver skills
for all private hire and community swimming sessions.

The Lifeguard’s guidance, safety and evacuation instructions must be respected and followed at all times.

The Committee is to be made aware of any known health issues that may require additional poolside supervision, for
example, SEN, hearing or visual impairment, epilepsy, heart conditions etc.

All filming or photography carried out during the booking is strictly the responsibility of the host and Billinghay Pool
committee and staff will not be held responsible for any social media or other public viewing used as a result of the
footage. It is the hosts responsibility to ensure ALL guests are aware of this policy and all attendees are compliant.

You, as the hirer/user, will be responsible for any catering you bring to the pool, including the disposal of food and other
waste. No glass or alcohol is permitted anywhere on the premises. Any party food is to be eaten towards the end
of the booked session also allowing time for getting changed etc (e.g. 1.5hrs swim, 30mins food and changing).

You will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of £30.00 to ‘hold’ a booking for the hire of the pool and will ensure the
remaining balance is paid in full at least one week before the hire date. If full payment has not been received, then
the pool reserves to right to re-book the pool.

Lifeguards are responsible for ALL poolside attendees. “Attendees” includes all swimmers and spectators which will
be considered in the booking numbers.

Any child under 8yrs must be accompanied in the water by an adult at a ratio of 1:3; any child 8 or over can be
supervised from the side whilst adhering to any weak swimmer regulations. Please ensure your party has sufficient
adults to supervise your group either in or out of the water.
