FAQ's

Pool Closure

Why is the pool closed?

There are some defects that are preventing us from safely opening. We’re working hard to get this resolved ready for the 2026 season.

How can I support the pool?

You can donate to our crowd funding campaign, attend our events, spread the word, and volunteer your time and/or expertise. Please contact us for any further information or if you have any ideas or suggestions.

Why has the fundraising target changed?

We have reduced the target to allow us to do the work required to get the pool open safely. There’s further long term work to do to ensure it stays open for future generations – but being open allows us to apply for more grants and other funding than if we’re closed. This is also why we’re planning on opening for a longer season – to unlock other funding opportunities.

When will the pool reopen?

Our target is to open the pool in April 2026 for an extended season
